Books I Hope to Read Before the New Year: Winter Edition ❄️

We are a little more than halfway through December which means that 2022 is right around the corner (exciting yet extremely terrifying stuff!). This means that I only have about two more weeks to get as much reading done before the New Year, and with the help of the holidays, I am definitely craving some wintry-themed books!

In today’s post I will be sharing the few books that I am hoping to pick up before the end of December that all remind me of that feeling of cozying up by the fire on a chilly day with some hot cocoa. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get to them all due to holiday plans, but I will definitely try to knock out half of them!

With that said, here’s the TBR! 🎄🎁❄️

Wild at Heart by K.A. Tucker

This is the sequel to The Simple Wild which I am currently re-reading so that I can fully understand and enjoy this next installment! I read the first book well over a year ago so I am very excited to re-visit the beautiful setting of Alaska and gush over Calla and Jonah a bit more! 🥰

Forever Wild by K.A. Tucker

After reading the previous book, I definitely plan on going straight into the short novella that follows the sequel in this series. It looks like a super quick read and, knowing me, I’ll still need more Calla and Jonah content even after reading an entire novel about them haha. 😊

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren

I’ve been seeing this book EVERYWHERE recently and am dying to know what the hype is all about! The romance sounds super cute but, if I’m being honest, the time-loop aspect is definitely the most intriguing part to me. Plus, that cover just screams festive vibes! 🌟

The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox

I just picked this book up for $5 today off of Facebook marketplace and am so excited to give it a try! This does give me mega-cheesy holiday vibes, but that may just be what I need during these festive two weeks! Not to mention my absolute fave, Taylor Jenkins Reid, wrote a blurb for it on the back and I definitely trust her when it comes to my literary decisions 👏

That is all for this post, thank you for reading! Have you read any of the books on this list? Let me know your thoughts if so! What are some other wintry-themed books on your TBR?

  1. I finally picked up In a Holidaze and thought it was a lot of fun 🙂 I still need to finish Tucker’s series though but perhaps next year, in prep for when she releases the next book (focusing on the vet)! I hope you enjoy these books and happy reading!

  2. Good luck with your TBR! I read In a Holidaze this December and I had such a good time with it, I loved the wintery, festive cabin setting 🥰 I got The Holiday Swap on Kindle and though I wasn’t able to get to it, I’ll make sure to read it next December ❄️
