Happy New Years Eve, bookworms! I cannot believe 2022 is just hours away. It feels like only yesterday when I was setting my Goodreads goal for 2021, and now I’m about to set a new one again!
For my final post of 2021, I will be tier ranking all the books I read this past year. This is my favorite way to rank things, book-related or not, and I honestly had so much fun doing it! Even though I only read 35 books this year (probably the least I’ve read since I’ve started tracking my reading), I’m pretty proud of this year’s reading regardless.
2021 was a wild year for me: I started and completed a 26 page thesis paper, was applying to jobs post-graduation, and graduated from college! Even if my year didn’t consist of the most finished books, I’m still excited with where I’m at, and am intrigued to see what new books 2022 brings into my life, and my bookshelf. 😉
With all that said, let’s get started with the ranking!

Happy Wednesday! Today I’ll be sitting by the fireplace, attempting to finish my last book of 2022. I’m currently reading The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox and am enjoying it so far! I definitely think this will be my last holiday read of the year though since I am getting pretty burnt out with festive vibes hahaha. 😂
Today I will be participating in Can’t-Wait Wednesday, a weekly meme to share an upcoming anticipated release that you’re excited about. The blog meme was based on Breaking the Spine‘s Waiting on Wednesday, and is hosted by Wishful Endings!
This week I will be featuring…

Genre: Fiction, Romance, Contemporary, Christmas
Targeted Age Range: Adult
Content Warnings: Sexual content, mentions of death and injuries

Synopsis via Goodreads: It’s the most wonderful time of the year…but not for Maelyn Jones. She’s living with her parents, hates her going-nowhere job, and has just made a romantic error of epic proportions.
But perhaps worst of all, this is the last Christmas Mae will be at her favorite place in the world—the snowy Utah cabin where she and her family have spent every holiday since she was born, along with two other beloved families. Mentally melting down as she drives away from the cabin for the final time, Mae throws out what she thinks is a simple plea to the universe: Please. Show me what will make me happy.
The next thing she knows, tires screech and metal collides, everything goes black. But when Mae gasps awake…she’s on an airplane bound for Utah, where she begins the same holiday all over again. With one hilarious disaster after another sending her back to the plane, Mae must figure out how to break free of the strange time loop—and finally get her true love under the mistletoe.
Jam-packed with yuletide cheer, an unforgettable cast of characters, and Christina Lauren’s trademark hijinks, this swoon-worthy romantic read will make you believe in the power of wishes and the magic of the holidays.

Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you all are having a lovely start to your week. For me, this week is dedicated to rest as I unwind after a hectic last week filled with Christmas festivities. I’m looking forward to spending some time with my family playing the new board games we got and reading some books I was gifted as well!
Today I’ll be participating in a blog meme called Top Five Tuesday! Top 5 Tuesday was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, and is now being hosted by Meeghan at Meeghan Reads.
Today’s topic is “Top 5 Books of 2021″. This was extremely difficult to do because I found myself enjoying lots of books this year, but I finally brought it down to five and am excited to share them with you all!
With that said, here are the books that had a lasting impression on me this year!

Merry Christmas, bookworms! Christmas is typically a very laid back day in my family where we literally do nothing but open presents, eat, and sit on the couch watching Holiday-themed romcoms together.
I thought it’d be fun to add to the festive cheer with a book tag created by Erin @ Reading on a Star. It’s called the Baby It’s Cold Outside Book Tag, and even though I haven’t been tagged by anyone specifically, I’ve seen this everywhere lately and thought it looked fun!
So grab yourself a cup of hot chocolate or your favorite tea and let’s get started with these cozy questions! ❄️

Hi friends! I hope you all are having a lovely Thursday. This month has absolutely flown by and I can’t believe it’s already Christmas Eve-Eve (for those who celebrate it)! Today my family will be going to the mall to do our annual secret Santa shopping, then we will come home to make homemade pizzas and have a dessert bake off! I may be biased, but I fully believe that my boyfriend and I’s mint chocolate chip fudge will be the winner. 😊
2022 is just around the corner and, for me, this time of the year typically consists of lots of reflecting and hopeful thinking for the upcoming year. I absolutely love setting goals for the New Year, because it feels like a chance to take a deep breath and hit a little refresh button in my mind.
2021 was a big year for me. I graduated from college after finishing a gruesome 20+ page thesis paper on Victorian feminism in Norwegian plays, and was extremely stressed about finding a job once I arrived home. Having the holidays to slowly get into gear for the New Year has definitely been a big help, and I am so excited for what’s to come once that clock strikes midnight on January 1st!
With all that said, I am also excited to share with you some of my goals and resolutions for the upcoming year. I may stick to these or I may not, and that’s okay! If I can accomplish even one of these goals, I would call that a successful year. 💖

Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you all are having a lovely start to your week. Mine has been a bit uneventful as the Holidays are approaching, but all the free-time means that I have been reading much more which is definitely an added plus!
Today I’ll be participating in a blog meme called Top Five Tuesday! Top 5 Tuesday was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, and is now being hosted by Meeghan at Meeghan Reads. 💖
Today’s topic is “Top 5 Favorite New Authors of 2021″, and I absolutely love this prompt because I have definitely been introduced to many new auto-buy authors this past year! Authors with writing styles that I love, but also authors who have given me some of my new favorite books of all time.
With that said, here are the authors whose grocery lists I totally wouldn’t mind reading!

We are a little more than halfway through December which means that 2022 is right around the corner (exciting yet extremely terrifying stuff!). This means that I only have about two more weeks to get as much reading done before the New Year, and with the help of the holidays, I am definitely craving some wintry-themed books!
In today’s post I will be sharing the few books that I am hoping to pick up before the end of December that all remind me of that feeling of cozying up by the fire on a chilly day with some hot cocoa. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get to them all due to holiday plans, but I will definitely try to knock out half of them!
With that said, here’s the TBR! 🎄🎁❄️
